This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which Tensive Effects ("we," "us," "our") may issue a refund. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with Tensive Effects, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. General Policy – All Sales Are Final
Tensive Effects does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for "change of mind" or if you have ordered the wrong product, did not like the product, or have no other reason for return other than a fault covered under warranty. We encourage you to review product descriptions and specifications carefully before making a purchase.
2. Faulty or Defective Goods (Warranty Claims)
If you believe your Tensive Effects product is faulty, defective, or not as described, please refer to our Product Warranty Terms and Conditions. Our Product Warranty Terms and Conditions outline the process for making a warranty claim and the remedies available, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund in specific circumstances (such as a major failure, in accordance with applicable consumer laws). Issues related to product faults are not handled under this Refund Policy but directly through our warranty process.
3. Refunds for Specific Scenarios (as per Shipping Policy & Terms and Conditions)
Refunds may be considered in the following specific circumstances, subject to the conditions outlined in our Shipping Policy and Terms and Conditions:
Packages Returned Due to Unpaid Customs Duties/Taxes (International Orders):
As stated in our Shipping Policy, if an international shipment is returned to Tensive Effects because you (the customer) refused to pay applicable import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees, any refund issued will be for the product cost only, less the original shipping cost paid to Tensive Effects, any return shipping costs incurred by Tensive Effects, and any other fees or duties charged to Tensive Effects by the carrier or customs authorities for the return. A refund under these circumstances is conditional upon the product being received back by us in its original, undamaged, and saleable condition. If the product is abandoned or disposed of by customs due to non-payment of these fees, no refund will be issued.
Undeliverable or Refused Packages (Not Due to Tensive Effects Error or Shipping Damage):
As stated in our Shipping Policy, if a package is returned to Tensive Effects because it was undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address provided by you, recipient not available for multiple delivery attempts) or if you refuse the delivery for reasons other than shipping damage confirmed by us or a mistake on our part:
- The original shipping charges paid by you are non-refundable.
- You will be responsible for any return shipping costs charged to Tensive Effects by the carrier.
- If you request a refund, it will be for the product cost less the original shipping charges and any return shipping costs incurred by Tensive Effects.
- A restocking fee may also apply if the product is not returned in its original condition.
Lost Shipments (Confirmed by Carrier):
As stated in our Shipping Policy, if your insured shipment is officially declared lost by the shipping carrier after a thorough investigation, Tensive Effects will issue a full refund for your order.
4. Processing of Approved Refunds
Any refunds approved by Tensive Effects (e.g., under a warranty claim for a major failure, or for a lost shipment as confirmed by the carrier, or under the specific return scenarios mentioned in Section 3) will be processed back to your original method of payment. Please allow approximately 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed by Tensive Effects after the refund eligibility has been confirmed and, where applicable, after the returned goods have been received and inspected by us. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution.
5. Consumer Rights
The terms of this Refund Policy are subject to any mandatory rights and remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in the jurisdiction where the product was purchased. This policy is not intended to limit or exclude such rights.
